Remember when I said I didn’t like raising the price of Stories About Things to $6 ? (See: title of this blog.) Well, I thought about it. And you know what I thought?
Expanded distribution allows books to be sold to bookstores and libraries that don’t normally browse Amazon and Create Space to fill their shelves. But you know what? I’m not trying to sell through bookstores and libraries. Not right now anyway. At least not until I get back to the Western hemisphere. Not until I get within range of bookstores and libraries that actually stock English books. Nope. I may be taking baby steps on the way towards professional authordom, but I’m not there yet. And I’m not rushing the journey.
So screw $6 books.
Stories About Things, the new version and the old, are now $4 again on CreateSpace. (Amazon may take a couple days to change the price back. Will update… )
At least for May.
That feels so much better.
